Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of ScanMonkey (the "App"), provided by HOFCD, LLC ("HOFCD," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
License
Subject to these Terms and Apple's applicable App Store terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or internal business document scanning and organization.
Apple Standard EULA
Unless we provide a separate custom license in App Store Connect, your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement for apps distributed through the App Store.
Your Documents and Responsibilities
You are responsible for the documents, images, signatures, QR codes, and other content you scan, import, create, save, export, or share using the App. Do not use the App to create, store, or distribute unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, harmful, or unauthorized content.
Data, Backups, and Exports
You are solely responsible for your documents and app data, including reviewing documents before use, keeping backups, controlling access to your device, and deciding when to export or share files with other apps, people, or services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HOFCD, LLC is not responsible for loss, deletion, corruption, unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse of documents, scans, OCR text, signatures, QR history, folders, tags, exports, or other app data.
No Professional Advice
ScanMonkey is a productivity tool. It does not provide legal, tax, medical, financial, compliance, or professional advice. You are responsible for verifying documents before relying on or submitting them.
OCR, QR Codes, and Document Accuracy
OCR text, QR code detection, image enhancement, cropping, and exports may contain errors. You should review important documents and QR destinations before using, signing, sharing, opening, or relying on them.
In-App Purchases
ScanMonkey may offer a one-time in-app purchase to remove ads. Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's payment, refund, and App Store policies.
Ads
The free version of the App may display advertising. We may change ad formats, frequency, and availability over time, subject to applicable law and platform rules.
Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We are not responsible for interruptions, device limitations, operating system changes, third-party service failures, or data loss.
Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HOFCD, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, document errors, or business interruption arising from your use of the App.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above.
