NetScanner Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of NetScanner, also referred to in development builds as NetScan (the "App"), provided by DHDS, LLC ("DHDS," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

License

Subject to these Terms and Apple's applicable App Store terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or internal business network scanning, diagnostics, and organization.

Apple Standard EULA

Unless we provide a separate custom license in App Store Connect, your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement for apps distributed through the App Store.

Authorized Use Only

You may use NetScanner only on networks, devices, and services that you own, administer, or are authorized to test. Do not use the App to access, scan, probe, monitor, disrupt, overload, exploit, or interfere with networks, devices, accounts, or services without permission.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for your use of the App, your compliance with applicable laws, contracts, workplace rules, school policies, network access terms, and platform requirements, and your decisions based on app results. You are also responsible for reviewing scan output before relying on, exporting, sharing, or acting on it.

Network Scan Results and Accuracy

Device names, MAC addresses, vendors, model guesses, open ports, security findings, hidden-camera indicators, presence tracking, speed tests, public IP information, ISP details, traceroute output, and other results may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or affected by network conditions, device privacy settings, firewalls, operating system limits, permissions, randomized addresses, sensor readings, and third-party services.

No Professional Security Advice

NetScanner is a diagnostic and productivity tool. It does not provide legal, compliance, forensic, physical-security, cybersecurity, law enforcement, emergency, or professional advice. You are responsible for consulting qualified professionals before making important security, safety, legal, compliance, or business decisions.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App may offer auto-renewing subscriptions or other in-app purchases. Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's payment, renewal, cancellation, refund, and App Store policies. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.

Data, Backups, and Exports

You are solely responsible for your app data and network scan results, including keeping backups where needed, controlling access to your device, deleting information you no longer want, and deciding when to export or share information with other apps, people, or services.

Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We are not responsible for interruptions, device limitations, permission limitations, operating system changes, third-party service failures, app store changes, or data loss.

Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DHDS, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, device issues, network issues, incorrect results, missed detections, or actions you take based on the App.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above.
