Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how DHDS, LLC ("DHDS," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with VioraDose (the "App"). VioraDose is a personal GLP tracking tool for iPhone.

Summary

VioraDose is designed as a local-first tracker. Most medication logs, symptoms, check-ins, notes, goals, reminders, and settings are stored on your device. The App may use Apple platform permissions and selected third-party services only for the features you choose to use, such as Apple Health import, barcode lookup, subscription management, and official savings resource feeds.

Consumer Health Data Notice

Some information handled by VioraDose may be considered consumer health data under certain privacy laws. This may include medication tracking, symptom logs, weight, height, BMI-related calculations, nutrition, hydration, step count, hunger or appetite check-ins, injection sites, notes, reminders, and clinician discussion notes.

We collect or process this information only to provide App features you choose to use, such as logging, reminders, charts, progress views, Apple Health import, doctor notes, export, and local data reset. We do not sell consumer health data. We do not use consumer health data for third-party advertising. We may disclose limited information only as described in this policy, such as to Apple platform services, RevenueCat for purchase status, nutrition lookup providers for barcode/search requests, a sharing destination you choose, or a service provider needed to operate a feature.

You can access, correct, export, and delete App data through the App's logging, sharing, export, and Delete Data controls. You can also contact us at the email below for privacy questions.

Information You Enter

The App may store information you choose to add, including medication names, forms, doses, schedules, reminders, supply counts, injection sites, pill logs, shot logs, pain scores, lot numbers, notes, missed dose choices, side effects, symptom severity, hunger or appetite check-ins, meals, water, calories, protein, fiber, weight, height, starting weight, goal weight, BMI-related calculations, doctor notes, export data, and app settings.

You control what you enter. You should not enter information for another person unless you have the right to do so.

Apple Health

If you grant permission, VioraDose may read supported Apple Health data such as body weight, height, dietary energy, protein, water, and step count. We use that data to fill in logs, charts, progress summaries, and related views in the App.

Apple Health permissions are controlled by iOS. You can decline Health access and still use manual logging. You can also change Health access later in the iOS Settings or Health app. VioraDose stores locally synced Health snapshots on your device so charts and summaries can continue to work inside the App.

Camera, Barcode, and Food Lookup

VioraDose may request camera access when you choose to scan a food barcode. Camera access is used for the scanner experience you start. The App does not need camera access to log medications, symptoms, weight, water, or notes.

When you scan or search for food, the barcode or search request may be sent to nutrition data providers used by the App, including Open Food Facts and USDA FoodData Central. Those providers may receive the lookup request and ordinary technical request information. They do not need your full VioraDose medication history to answer a barcode or nutrition lookup.

Notifications and Reminders

VioraDose uses iOS local notifications for dose reminders, pill reminders, water reminders, supplement reminders, and missed-dose check prompts when enabled. Notifications may show medication, supplement, or reminder details unless you turn on the App's notification privacy filter or change notification settings in iOS.

iOS controls notification permission and delivery. Focus modes, device state, system settings, and Apple platform behavior can affect whether notifications appear.

Face ID and Passcode Lock

If you turn on App Lock, VioraDose uses Apple's Local Authentication framework so your device can ask for Face ID, Touch ID where available, or device passcode. VioraDose does not receive or store your biometric templates. Biometric authentication is handled by iOS.

Subscriptions and Purchases

VioraDose may offer premium features, subscriptions, free trials, and purchase restoration through the Apple App Store. Apple processes payments, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and App Store account billing. We do not receive your full payment card details.

VioraDose uses RevenueCat to help manage offerings, purchase status, entitlement status, product identifiers, transaction dates, restore status, app user identifiers, and diagnostics needed to unlock premium features. RevenueCat does not need your GLP medication logs, symptoms, meals, notes, or Health snapshots to determine whether premium features should be unlocked.

Savings and Manufacturer Resource Feed

VioraDose may load a savings and access resource feed from a DHDS-hosted endpoint so the App can show official manufacturer links, phone numbers, pharmacy steps, and savings-resource summaries. This feed is provided for convenience only. Eligibility, pricing, maximum savings, terms, exclusions, and availability can change. Always verify details with the official manufacturer, insurer, pharmacist, or program source before relying on any savings information.

Sharing and Exporting

VioraDose includes user-controlled sharing features such as notes for a doctor and JSON export. When you use iOS share sheets, Messages, Mail, Files, or other sharing destinations, the information you choose to share is handled by the destination you select. Review what you are sharing before sending it.

Support Communications

If you contact us for support, we may receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any information you choose to include. Please avoid sending sensitive health information unless it is necessary for your support request.

Third-Party Services

Depending on the features you use, VioraDose may interact with Apple platform services, RevenueCat, Open Food Facts, USDA FoodData Central, and DHDS-hosted savings endpoints. These services may process technical data needed to provide their functions, such as request metadata, purchase status, product identifiers, API queries, barcode values, or device/network information.

VioraDose does not use third-party advertising networks in the current release plan and does not sell your personal information.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local App data remains on your device until you edit it, delete it, reset App data, or uninstall the App. The App's Delete Data feature is designed to remove local doses, stats, meals, symptoms, goals, reminders, setup information, and locally synced Health snapshots. Premium purchase records are managed by Apple and RevenueCat so purchases can be restored and billing obligations can be handled.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate for a local-first consumer wellness app, but no app, device, network, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Use your device passcode, iCloud settings, notification privacy settings, and App Lock settings thoughtfully.

Children's Privacy

VioraDose is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above.
